1968 Jaguar Etype series 1.5 4.2
The Jaguar E-type was announced at the London Motor Show in 1961. The design was based on the massively successful spots racing D-Type, but with the added benefit of independent rear suspension and powered by a triple carb 3,8 litre version of the XK engine. With a selling price far below that of any comparable motor car and remarkable performance and handling, the E-type was an instant success. The design was improved over the years, and the car offered here is the series 1.5 with the 4.2 litre motor, in excellent condition.
These cars are among the most sort after and desirable classics, with the beautiful lines instantly recognisable.
