1932 Ford v8 “Sport Coupe”
1932 Is the last year Ford produced a Sports coupe style body.
The Model 18 B50 Sports coupe featured Landau irons, Sun visors, rumble seat (often used for mother-in-laws)
A very rare car, with US domestic production of just 2169 cars and and this car is one of 107 Canadian built cars. (ref: the Early Ford v8 – E P Francis and G DeAngelis)
The car was restored in the early 1980s, and could do with some refreshment. The car drives well, and the early flat head v8 has a distinct v8 sound. A modern alternator has been fitted and the car has been converted to the much more practical 12v system.
